the controls and basic principles are smooth to me. i can beat the cpu on normal (kinda hard to me). how do i beat the cpu on higher difficulties. also what are some strategies to get better?

Part of combat is to know thy enemy. To defeat one monster may be real hard. But then by fighting some other character you might earn the money to easily buy the weapon or armor to defeat the monster more readily. Works for me. Also keep fileplanet.com and bookmark it. From there you can go to gamespy.com. See if you can get BFME2 on gamespy to play. I got one of my games to play and then found out in the 1 player mode, other people could join and take over the other player roles or NPC roles. Anyway, have fun.
