I have often wondered this myself, being gay doesn't change the sex you were born with, I think that when a person does this they are trying to push their lifestyle on others. They need to look for the acceptance in their own lives and not try to make others accept them by pushing their lifestyles of something that should remain between them and their partners on the public. There is nothing wrong with having alternative lifestyles and most with alternative lifestyles I think would agree, some try to hard, push to far, I don't think any man should be able to join a female beauty contest, be he gay, straight, or whatever.

I hate it when straight people say "a gay" instead of gay. Or better yet...."you gays" is even more annoying.
To answer your generalized question, not all gay people are feminine. Therefore, they do not feel the need to join a female beauty contest. (there are pro sports players that are gay and bisexual, does that knowledge disrupt your manhood?)

Don't generalize now.. I wouldn't participate in a female beauty contest and neither would any of the gay men I know.

The gay is more confident and braver than the other competitors by coming out of the closet. And believe me baby, confident and bravery are important qualities that counts in order to win the contest.
