North Korea is settled for the moment. As for Iran killing innocent Iraqis, what are you talking about? The USA and the Coalition of the 'not so brights', have invaded Iraq and slaughtered over 650,000 mostly innocent Iraqis. This is nothing compared to the "bloodbath" that is in store for Iraq when the US withdraws, if they ever do. Iran is at least 10 times more powerful and more prepared than Iraq. The US cannot win in Iraq, what makes you think they could stand a chance against Iran. By the way, it is just the PRES. of Iran calling for the destruction of Israel, not the people or the Ayatollah(Head of State). Yet every time you read anything, Americans are clamouring for the destruction of Iran. Let's face the truth, the Americans are far greater war-mongers, than any one else on the planet.

Don't think so, at least in the near future. The Bush Administration ahs bought time on North Korea with the recent multilateral agreement — perhaps it may be the basis for a long-term stabilization, but in any event, the probably may be deferred till the next aministration takes charge afer the 2008 election.
Using the same time line, Iran is more chancy. What we don't know is whether there are really preparations for war or whether the mlitary preparations, by the U.S., and possibly some of the Europeans and Israel, are either (a) precautionary or (b) intdned to give credibiility to a game of chicken. My gut sense is that it is the latter, but this kind of game is dangerous, because you never know how something can go wrong. My sense is that right now the main pressure point is economic and diplomatic. Some of the allies (e.g., the Germans, at least according to reorts of their inteliigence chief) assess the Iranian threat as credible (i.e., the are going for nuclear weapons of some sort) but unlikely to be a viable threat until some time between 2012 and 2015. But anything can happen, including an outbreak of war by accident or misinformation when threatening maneuvers by both sides become real threats, wit one or another party jumping the gun. On the other hand, even withnin the hardline Iranian regime, Ahmedinijad might be replaced as a loose cannon that exposes Iran to more threats and pressure than the senior Shia clerics like. Equally hardline technocrats, such as their chief arms negotiator (whose name presently escapes me) who are no softer in their desire to see an Iran with nuclear weapons and nuclear power, but are more experienced in diplomatic negotiations and might be marginally less threatening. I don't think the game is played out yet and I think that much of what we are seeing now is rumor and propaganda on both sides. I have often been very wrong on these matters and I could be very wrong again. But I hope not.

North Korea - probably not.
Iran - Any action against Iran depends on the actions taken by Iran in response to the concerns of the rest of the world over the building of atomic weapons. Many people in the rest of the world view Iran as a rogue state with the admitted intention of destroying another country in the Middle East. The US is not inviting the problem - Iran is the one refusing to show the rest of the world that they are not developing the atomic bomb.
If it should ever be necessary to stop the Iranian atomic program with force, there is not need to invade Iran. Several strikes on the Iranian nuclear facilities using cruise missiles would cripple the Iranian nuclear program with no innocent people being killed - unless of course Iran puts children in the way which seems to be the way terrorists like to operate in many cases.
As to your comment about innocent children, how many innocent children have the Iranian sponsored "insurgents" in Iraq killed with the bombs and weapons supplied by Iran and Syria.

Well, U.S are not worrying about North Korea now, because China stop the North Korean Nuclear Programs, and as for Iran, U.S may invade Iran cause they are not doing what the U.N tell them to do.
