I dont know how to make a sub account to split internet connection. bdw, I already have a router.

A router should be all you need if you have Ethernet (cable and/or DSL).

A router will work just fine to split that connection. The only issue comes in that you may need to set the MAC address of the router to a machine that has already used the ethernet connection. I had to set the router MAC address to be the same as my network card on my computer in order for it to respond.

Please be more specific in your question, as no other account would be needed for an ethernet connection. In addition, a router is for ethernet connections, which has me confused yet again.

You do not need to split an account if you are using a router. As long as you have both computers on the same workgroup and each has a different computer name you should be able to "Plug and Play" the second computer. Just plug it into the router.
