I can't agree with your premise that the Bible is God's law, because who are we to judge the rules of such a being, if it were to exist? Would it have any? Those questions are more fundamentally important than a negative question directed at women.

God did not create women to be "subservient" to men. God said, "It is not good for man to be ALONE." So He created woman to be a companion to man.
