This computer is top notch. Dont take my word for it, check out pcpitstop and you can have an online benchmark to tell you how well your computer stacks up against the rest of the world.....
You can open an account for free, if you dont want to , you can click on "full test", next select "new member", you will have to install an active x from this point, now you can skip making an account, and run this online web renchmarking tool!

You will see your computer rocks compared to the average person........Hope this works for ya...

Impossible. Your friend couldn't have built such an swesome computer, without knowing that this costs more than 3000 dollars. The ram itself is somewhere up in the thousands. But the fact that you have Vista bothers me. Get XP Pro and wait about 6 months while Microsoft fixes the parts of Vista that suck, because you can't even run most things on Vista now anyway.

I didn't see processor mentioned. Liquid cooled? Now that sounds very newish. 4GB of memory sounds like double what my Gateway GT series modem with an AMD 64 processor has. But, my dual core processor is very multi task orientated, meaning I can burn a DVD, search the web, download a program, listen to an audio cd, while watching a dvd, and I never notice any slow down of speed of my computer. Sound Blasters used to be in pre-Windows 1995 computers. But, it sounds new too. I also didn't notice if you have media center or tv/cable/dvd player/ or vcr input coax or S-video inputs. Mine does. I can record on one disc drive audio or dvd, and play a cd or dvd on the player disc drive. Does yours do all these at once? I don't get all these "card" ad-ons. I know I can add more memory. But in my experience more memory only slows down this the previous computers I owned. But, it seems like it is worth at leasst $1,000 new, and thaqt you were not ripped off.
