first of all u must know what is the portion for maths,physics,chemistry.you must not byhott it.you must have a clear concept on it.
I prefer TMH BOOK for maths,arihant books for physics and chemistry.

By qualifying the test. Books by foreign writers are betters. Old actual papers are very useful.

by giving entrance test and having coaching from institute like siddhartha and cota. etc. and going through n,c.r.t. books thoroughly.
