if you like rap read this (10 points!)?

Question

We are a rap group and we are just starting and before we expose our music to people, we want to know if its good. There are 3 of us,so we all have our own song up there, but one person from the group has two on there. Please give us opinions on what you think, and tell us what you think and give us a review of each song since they each got differant people on it.

I know I cant give everyone 10 pts, so whoever has the best answer (weather it be good or bad) to let us know what they think will get the points.

I need you -
The vocals are overpowered by the beat. The piano hook could be a bit more subtle. The synths should come in a little bit harder, during the chorus. Nice hook and bridge on this track. It's a good track its just the piano sample overpowers everything.

Nothin 2 Lose -
Good cadence from the MC on this one. Nice use of synth to match the hook. I would beef up the snare. It feels like the snare could come in a bit harder. Maybe a layered snare, not sure, well you know, the last little instrumental part was tight. I would use more of that during the actual song, maybe during the verse drop out everything for a bar before the chorus or something.

She -
Nice sample on this one, Im sure this is the one that gets the most props. Im not feeling the hook though, its not catchy. I would recognize and be singing the sample over the hook.

Fly Like me-
This is a tight track. Bumpin in the ride. I would some how differentiate the beat from verse to chorus. There was no transition. its only a snippet its good from what you got so far

I can see some radio play in I need You, She and Fly Like Me, they have alot of crossover potential, Nothin 2 Lose is the kinda rap i listen to so thats why I was more critical, but with some tweaking this would be a hard song

i thought in general that all songs are basicly some typical mainstream rap i can listen to if i turn on to MTV. to me thats a bad thing cos i guess you're not really creating original stuff, and i think thats exactly what your music needs, u should probably have someone to work out more the musical part, some experienced musician maybe. but if u want to create some typical mainstream rap then i guess ur doing well.
first, i thought i need you had a good piano melody, i sort of enjoyed, but i thought the rappin was too corny and eventually makes the song fall down. then i didnt really like the beats on nothin 2 lose, as well as the "yea" that keeps comin throughout the song (i think its the worst song u got), it just dont really work for me. then i thought "she" was probly the best one u got, i really felt it was original, different from the others, and worked out pretty well, even though it might be a little too long which makes it a bit repetitive, but i really thougth it was good, it got lots of potential, its some good rap and i would probably insist more on those bullet sounds u got at about 00:45. finally i thought fly like me snippet was ok, though eventually unoriginal contrary to the previous, and it eventually gets boring from the begginning.
anyway i think u really worked ur stuff pretty well, u seem like ur dedicated people and with the right contacts u can have some success. u gotta keep on workin, insist on innovating, bringing new sounds, exploring new grounds, cos thats what we need today in music. good luck

1st song has some tight beats in it and the rap is just smooth
2nd this is some tight **** homy i really think im listening to 3 6
3rd hey brother rap a bit smoother go with the flow in this song
4th this is great i really like it i can imagine myself going on a drive listening to this track...

overall i think you guys can get big the beats are really good and the rapping is good as well good luck y'all.

I need you feat villa is awsome. have an add command and i'll put that on my myspace. its really really good. if i heard this on the radio station i would probably say " o this song sounds familiar" it kinda blends in but its a good start. this could easily be on the radio i think
