Its a lake Victorian Haplochromis. Looks closest to a Haplochromis sp. flameback. I used to keep and breed Haplochromis sp 44's which are very similar also.

from the picture i would say it is an african or Red Cichlid but to be sure i would log onto a proffesional fish website and upload the photo to them or take the pic in to your local aquarium they should be able to tell you!
