Definitly possible. Sperm swim up to 72 hours or longer before they die. So if you had sex on the 24th sperm would not die until around the 27th. Starting with the day of your menstral period as day one which was on the 17th, and had sex on the 24th, the 24th would be day 8 and so you would actually ovulate on Feb 30th(day 14). Six days before ovulation so you are semi fertile during this time. It is very to ovulation time. Take a test if you miss a period. Also, this is based on a 28 day cycle. Many many people make the mistake of counting 14 days after their period.

17 weeks pregnant with first

Did you know that there is no 100% safe sex even if we wear condoms or take pills....Everyone has a different ovulation period so I can't be sure but I know that if you have protected sex meaning using condoms or taking pills the risk is less but that does not mean we can't get pregnant. So I think getting pregnant is a possibility but a low possibility it is if you are having safe sex.
My answer to your question is it is possible you might be pregnant but I remember if you want to prevent unwanted pregnancy there this pill we take after having sex. Maybe you should try an find it....although I don't really know what it is called. Remember that there is no 100% safe prevention from pregnancy. The safest way is no having sex at all...

while every woman's body is different, you can get pregnant at any time. If your period started on the 17th and lasted til maybe the 22nd, then you will probably not be. If it ended around the 17, there is a chance but I would say still probably not. A typical woman ovulates around 12 to 14 days after your period. If you wanted to get pregnant, I hope it works out and maybe you should try again. If you did not want to get pregnant, I still hope everything works out for you.
