When a girl has romantic feelings for her father.

The "Electra Syndrome" is commonly referred to as "the Electra Complex", and it is when a young girl develops feelings of love for her father, and these feelings turn problematic if she doesn't grow out of them as she matures. This is the reverse of the "Oedipas Complex", which I'm sure you've heard of before.
Electra = Girl loves Father
Oedipus = Boy loves Mother
(and by love, I mean in an unnatural, incestuous sort of way)

First of all it is not a syndrome it is a complex.

The Electra complex is the female equivalent of the Oedipus complex.

It is when a young woman seeks an older man in a relationship to fill an emotional void in her life that was not satisfied by her father while she was growing up.

Good Luck!

I am not sure but I conjecture it is a person who has not overcome their electra complex

The same thing as the Oedipus complex, only it's when a daughter directs affection toward her father and hatred or jealousy toward her mother.
