This is very difficult to answer me, coz i am the fan of this both cricketer. Sachin is the second best bastman in the world after Sir Don Bradman and Saurav is also very dashing bastman but Sachin is master blaster.

That leaves the team with an interesting problem: it will have four potential openers in its ranks, and will need to pick the ideal two.

Who should it be?

Sourav Ganguly and Sachin Tendulkar, who before they were separated formed the most prolific pairing in one-day history?

Sourav Ganguly and Virender Sehwag, if the latter is back in form, looking for the sort of explosive starts the right-hander is capable of giving when he is at his best, with the added advantage of having the experienced Sourav at the other end to temper his impetuosity?

Tendulkar and Sehwag, reprising the combination that took the team through the critical stages and to the final of the '03 World Cup?

Or Ganguly and Robin Uthappa, a combination that backs a fearless youngster now running.

Both are great Cricketer.

It is difficult to say whether Ganguly or Sachin is the best..
In my opinion, Ganguly is the best bcoz he is the most successful captain of India with a record number of wins..Also he guided Team India to the final in the World Cup 2003, which India would have won if there was not much pressure from the Aussies!!! Sachin is a gud player too but sometimes he doesn't make much runs (though Sachin has more number of runs than Ganguly) They are the best cricketers that Team India can have!!! They make a gud combination in the squad!

Sachin Tendulkar the second greatest Test batsman ever, after Sir Don Bradman[1]. He holds several key batting records, including the most Test centuries, most ODI centuries and the most runs in ODI cricket. He is also the most capped player currently playing international cricket. He received the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna, India's highest sporting honour, for 1997-1998, and the civilian award Padma Shri in 1999. Tendulkar was a Wisden Cricketer of the Year in 1997. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest batsmen ever.
