Depending on how far along they will usually tell you (if you want to know) and point out where your doctor sees it. Usually they tell you from 16-20 weeks.

They'll take a pretty little picture of your little baby's butt. If it's a boy..you'll see a little thingy there between the legs. If it's a girl, there will be leg, line, bump, line, bump, line, leg. \ \m/ / Kinda like that, but smaller.
