Your uterus is stripped after having a baby. So yes you can be pregnant easily.
And breast feeding slows ovulation in some women. Do not count on it as birth control.
I would advise a pregnancy test for peace of mind.

Breastfeeding wont keep you from getting pregnant. Breastfeeding for some woman can delay your body from ovulating for a while, but you can ovulate at anytime and not know it. The only way you can know that you have ovulated is if you get a period. If you have symptoms of any kind just take a test to find out for sure.

Breastfeeding usually does afford you a greater length of protection against pregnancy, but as everyone knows (or should know) nothing is guaranteed. After having her second child, my sister discovered she was pregnant again when she went for her six week check-up.
