Hey Jake! Do yourself a favor and don't ever watch another movie again. It is obvious that you have a small amount of intelligence and cannot comprehend anything. Samuel L. Jackson's character was chaining her up cause she was acting like a prostitute.

You sound like you feel like the victim, I think you should watch a movie called " A Time to Kill " It also has Samuel L. Jackson in it, after you watch a movie like this, and actually understand it then you write something about racism and how wrong it is..

I also for one think it looks like a rather good movie, Sam is a great actor, it doesn't look racist at all to me, he is trying to help her lead a better life, because she is only hurting herself by doing drugs and sleeping with a bunch of different men..

You will see that no one really has it easy, people get judged everyday for different things besides our skin colors, people judge your hair, your appearance, what type of clothes you wear, how you talk, how you walk, how much money you do, or don't have, skin color isn't even the biggest deal anymore, so why bring it up??..

Buddy, you really need to calm down. Who really cares about "Reverse Racism?" If you truly feel discriminated against than maybe you could have a point, but get over it. I used to do the same thing you are, but then I grew up and realized that African American's really have had to deal with more racism than you or I could ever know so lets give them some slack and remember that it's just a fictional movie. How about we all get bent out of shape over something worth getting bent out of shape for...you would say the same thing if a black person was complaining about this if it were the other way, so like I said before...get over it and move on.

Jake, I agree with you. I'm a very open person and blurt out my opinon whenever I want. My black friends don't mind and often debate these issue with me, but people who over hear our conversations say I'm racist until "my friends correct them". So, yea I understand, but do agree some black people would find it offence too. (If that is what the movie was about.)

(I don't like to use the word "African American" because I know black people who did not come from Africa and African people who are now US citizens that are not black.)
