Yes dear you most likely have Sciatica. Your Sciatic nerve is pinched. This is very painfull. Research it there are many exersizes that can help some with this. Use lots of pillows.

side laying works best for me, it a pillow between my knees. I go to chiropractor and do physical theropy both.

Mine even hurts even worse during labor and delivery. you may email me if you would like.

I had it and i think it was from sitting in an office chair all day - the only thing that helped it was not sitting in that chair all day

oohhhh and giving birth - i have a 7 day old son and he was worth the pain and the stiches and the labour....

In addition to all the other great ideas at Motherhood maternity they sell bands that go around your back and under your stomach. It helps support you much like a bra would and it greatly helped my back pain. Good luck.

When I had back pain with both my babies, I worn those heating pads that stick on your back. Constantly. Sometimes I went to a spa that had a Jacuzzi. That was great.

Get a lower or all-over back massage. I had the same problem when I was pregnant with my son. Also, a jacuzzi works wonders (whether bath jacuzzi or hot tub). Try it!

i had back pain the whole 9 months...the only thing i found for relief was going to the chiropractor and standing up straight...but other than that it's b/c of the weight from the baby pulling you down....
