I experiance what's called, "Sleep paralysis" often. Look it up, it exists and did not originate in my mind as I have thought it to have some time ago. Now I am experiancing something much different in almost every way. I'll go into a little detail as to have you informed of my "state".

Before, I only fell into Sleep Paralysis when face up on the bed; now it doesn't really matter where and how I go to sleep. But the real difference is the feeling I get. Those who have been through Sleep Paralysis know how terrorfying it can be, no matter the age. What I'm feeling is much different, it' not even scary anymore, it's somewhat exciting and pleasurable.

The second my "thing" starts when I go to sleep, I almost completely lose control of my body and go into a "Trance" kind of state. I feel as if i'm floating, actually - I could swear on my life that I'm floating in mid-air. I could control it a bit now, with a little practice. Let me say this once more, I feel as if I'm levetating.

There wasn't enough space for me to finish.

I feel GREAT when the above happens, it's as if I'm dreaming of flying in the skies like superman or something. But the thing is, I could move my head and I could see where I am, in my bed. It would also be wise for me to add that when I "wake" from this trance I feel like I am falling a foot or two.

Last thing, If this happened to me once, I would ignore it and declare it a dream. This thing happened to be more times then I could count, and even though it feels somewhat good, it's still scary. Again...this happens to be more and more. Am I going crazy? Is it a part of the Sleep Paralysis? Am I actually f-ing levetating? Dreaming? Ask if you need more info. I am completely out of my state of mind as of now.

It sounds almost like an O.O.B.E. (out of body experience.) Like astral projection.

If its real to you and its something you want sorted why not try the doctor and just see what they say. I cant pretend i know anything about sleep paralysis but if its a big thing in your life and you have to find answers i would go to the doctor.

Best wishes friend - i hope you get the information/answers you need.

What could be happening is that you are remembering a dream before you go to bed. Your fascination with flying had been enhanced by the reoccurring dream. Just enjoy them while you can because eventually they will pass. I went through a flying period in my early twenties. I could go places at will, like streets and roads in my home town. Eventually I met the force that was drawing me toward the sky. I had become a character of one of the books I was reading.

well..i do suggest that u go to visit a psychologist and tell him abt ur experience..since not many know much about this..he could be of a great help.
many thinks that visiting a psychologist means that u're mentally ill or something like that but it is totally not true..
anyway..ur health is much more important than what other thinks about u..

It's exciting and pleasurable, but you can't take it anymore?
