1967 - BOB DYLAN's GREATEST HITS...
Rainy Day Women
Blowin' in the Wind
The Times They Are A-Changin'
It Ain't Me, Babe
Like a Rolling Stone
Mr. Tambourine Man
Subterranean Homesick Blues
I Want You
Positively 4th Street
Just Like a Woman....
...are some of my perennial favorites. They are as fresh, as relevant, and as timeless as the day Dylan recorded them. The lyrics are searingly cynical at times but they are born out of life's experiences, ever searching for the "id" implanted deep inside our soul, our consciousness, our "self".
This compilation is highly recommended for entry-level Dylan lovers. What a ride!!

Stop Cryin'
"If you're looking for assistance, babe,
Or if you just want some company
Or if you just want a friend you can talk to,
Honey, come and see about me."
Love that song! I think it's from about 1978
