First, education helps the individual in expanding his/her knowledge and makes his/her contribution more valuable. Society comprises of individuals and the individual upliftment provides for progress of the society. A nation is made up of collection of societies and naturally developing societies makes the nation progressive. This is true of any nation, whether developing or developed. THIS IS NEEDED IN CASE OF INDIA ESPECIALLY, AS IT IS A NATION OF YOUNG MINDS TODAY AND SHOULD DEVELOP FASTER THAN IT IS AT PRESENT.

I think the importance would be the same as for any children's education. Educating today's children is vital to every country-- developed or developing. Today's children are tomorrow's teachers, business people, scientists, doctors, nurses, inventors, leaders, etc. If our children are not educated, they will be unable to fulfill those roles.

Children's education is important as it will lead to literaacy and help in the future of india.As there would be more literate people, there would be more understanding population.the country is represented by its people.So if there are progressive eople, the country would progress too.
