In alot of gay bars men will use either the men's room or the ladie's room. In alot of cases there are no women in the bar so they can use either. People in gay bars are easy to get along with and don't make a big deal about those things like straight places where it could be an upsetting situation. Usually in a gay bar where a couple women come in they usually notice them going in and someone will say that a female is in there and then the males won't go in until she comes out. Very considerate orderly social functions and considerations. No one is uptight about things like straight bars. Alot of gay men will use the ladie's bathroom to avoid having someone trying to look over the urinals to see your privates. Also the ladie's rooms will have partitions in them for privacy. You can count your money in the stalls without someone seeing. You are more likely to get robbed in the men's room when there are predators lurking. It happens alot. Gays are victims often in their own environment. And often.

I say if they are a gay man, then they use the mens room. If they are a gay woman, then they use the ladies room.

Gay guy here. I use the gay guy's room. It's the one that says "Men" on the door.

Geez, Hardaway, I think this one's obvious. I gonna go ahead and say gay MEN use the MEN'S room, and lesbians use the LADIES room.
Are you just confusing your terms and meaning drag queens or transexuals? In that case, I'll say it depends on what organs they have, where they happen to be and what they consider themselves.

It depends on whether they are a man or a woman. And just because they are gay does not mean they want to be the opposite sex.

They use the bathroom appropriate to their gender.
If you're speaking of transsexuals (and I don't think you are, but just in case), they go in the room that's the gender they identify with.

That is a great question, I used to work with a lot of people of the same sex thing and I had never heard that....
