Flying Qantas-Air France.

9 hours from Sydney to Singapore- Flying Qantas

-stopover can vary, you may request a night over in Singapore, but otherwise it may range from 2-9 hours-
(Cool thing about having a longish stopover (during day) in Singapore is that the airports pretty cool, and they have free shopping tours to their major shopping centres in Singapore)

12 and 1/2 Hours Singapore to Paris (CDG Airport) flying Air France

Note: Air France only operates from Singapore.
They don't fly to Sydney (at least they didn't in the past!)
So that's why you fly Qantas for the first leg.

I just flew from Sydney to Paris. Gee, my arms are tired. Seriously, just reach for your world atlas and you'll get a better idea.
