Thanks so much for calling most of the female population "old hags", we really love that kind of encouragement. (being sarcastic, if you can't tell) For your information, I have never worn make-up, and I never plan to.
Maybe most girls think boys are to shallow to think they "look good" without it.

Makeup does wonders.. It makes a person looks more presentable and some may achieve the flawless look and in turn, it may make a person more confident and be able to feel good about herself. Of course, we are talking about makeup alone, not thinking that it really will enhance your lips to be like Angeline Jolie or having bigger eyes.. That needs to be achieved through the works of botox or cosmetic surgery...
Yet again, it depends on how the female applies makeup on her face.. Some knows the art, thus resulting in looking prettier.. However, there are some others who doesn't know how to apply makeup or they may want to try out green or purple eyeshadow which look like witches..
Applying makeup may harm your skin if the wrong product is purchased or the face is not cleansed properly. You do not really need to buy really expensive makeup.. Makeup of a reasonable price or a known brand will do. There are some gals who may be allergic to certain well-known brands.. On the other hand, we can't just buy any unknown brand as any cheap makeup will hurt the texture of the face and it will have reactions or breakouts..
Simple makeup such as a touch of foundation or powder, and lipstick is equally good..

All I have to say is sometimes its worth it! You get what you pay for...its that simple. However, you can cut corners on certain products. Did you know that Loreal owns Biotherm and Lancome?! I've found that Lancome's eye make up remover works great, but kinda pricey since its over $20! I think Loreal's eye make up remover works just as good and costs under $5 at Target. You got to try new things out, find out what works best for you. I also work at a department store and see all the cosmetics returns that are halfway or completely used. I think that has something to do with the prices being so high...

Wow...you don't obviously understand a woman's need. The quality of make-up that is more expensive is better.
I can tell a man a million times don't go to the gym, your never going to get that Brad Pitt body every guy wishes they had, or dont bother buying supplements for your Penis, because its never going to be as big as Tommy Lees.
Trust me, everyone has insecurities, not just women.

I thought you really wanted to know. I had no idea you were beating up old people! They want to look their best- what ever that is. Expensive products are better quality in most cases and if they have delicate skin or skin flaws/problems, there are ingredients to assist them. Just remember, when you get old and wrinkled, they may not have ANYTHING to help you.

The more expensive the better quality and quality does matter for your skin. Personally i dont buy expensive stuff cause if you no how to do it then it all looks the same anyway, but it is nice to have nice things sometimes.

Hey back off with the insults. Will ya? We buy expensive make-up because we're doing something for ourselves. It's like getting yourself pampered and trying to look your best. It's what we women do.

I use expensive make up. I am sorry but "cheap" make up sucks. It always breaks me out, and it is horrible. I agree that expensive and cheap make up basically look the same, but the quality is compeltly different. I love Mac make up, and I LOVE Channel... And also Dior, Este Lauder, Lancome, Yea all of them... There all awsome makeup brands! But its denfently worth the money!!

The big question is, what the h*** is it to you? Leave them alone, maybe when you get old and have your mid life whatever you will get your red corvette and drive around trying to get the young girls to look at you....they wont. Let them buy their lipstick, who is it hurting? By the way, did you realize while you were criticizing innocent older women that global warming and world war III are happening??

the more expensive the makeup, the more research done with skin, the less likely it is for your girlfriend not to end up with a horrible skin reaction.
