You may want to look into ESL (English as a Second Language) programs at your local university. They usually provide classes for adults in the evening. This would help you to improve your English speaking and writing. It is very important to get a strong command of the langauge.

If you are in the US, there are many programs where you can learn to speak and pronounce English. You can also buy computer software that you can use at home.
Ask friends and neighbors if they will help you. You can also go to a bookstore or the library and get books on grammar and pronounciation. They aren't that expensive. Also, have a good dictionary such as Merriam-Webster.
