i use almay, the kind that twists up. its just like a pencil but you dont have to sharpen it and its easier to apply than liquid.
best both ways

I keep on saying to try "Milani" make-up which you can find in any CVS. It's fairly inexpensive, i.e. their self-sharpening, twist up eyeliner is only $3.99! They also carry lipliner, and lipsticks -- all very equal in quality of the more designer brands.
However, I cannot vouch for the rest of their products like their eyeshadow, mascara, etc. only because I have never used them. If for some reason you don't try the above, there's always the Estee Lauder eyeliner: fabulous, but also 7 times more expensive!!

well there is an eyeliner from mac that i absolutely love. its a cream in a small jar, and you use an angle brush to apply it. the actual name of it is MAC Fluidline, in the shade blacktrack. its not a liquid or solid, its just in between. it has a cream consistancy which sounds to me what youre looking for! the actualy fluidline was about 12 dollars, and the brush was 18. kinda steep i know, but the brush can also be used for eyebrow touchups, and for eye makeup. so this is a good one! good luck and its gonna look beautiful! oh, and by the way, its SUPER easy to put on ;)

max factor do a good one. they have 2 pencil eye liners, ones a kohl pencil and the other i'm not sure of the name (haven't got it to hand) but it is really good. i bought it about 2 weeks ago. it is one of those pencils in the plastic casing that twist up, so no sharp splinters to irritate you, and it stays put all day. they do a few different colours. try it!

Try N.Y.C.'s(New York Color) eyeliner. It doesn't smudge as easy as most eye-liners I've tried.
You can get it at Walmart.

I use liquid eyeliner, it looks the best and lasts the longest. Lancome's "Artliner" is the best!
