I am going to go to Disney World in October and I want to know how late the will be open. They dont have an official schedule up yet, so I was hoping someknow would know from last year. I'm thinking the first week of October. THANKS a ton!

EPCOT always closes at 9 pm, except for Christmas time when it closes at 9:30 because the Candlelight Processional has 3 shows.
Animal Kingdom, generally, stays open until at least 5:00 pm.
Disney-MGM studios tends to close around 7:00 pm during non-peak times.
Magic Kingdom is kind of unpredictable. Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will have started by then. That's a separate hard-ticket event that runs for 3 hours after the park closes to day guests. The park closes at 6:00 pm for day guests on party nights. The parties are usually held twice a week. They are a lot of fun--I really recommend going if you can. On non-party nights the park will (again, generally) close late enough to have a fireworks showing, at least. I believe that the park closed the latest on Saturdays in October last year--around 11:00pm. There were 2 runs of the night parade with a fireworks show in between.
If you are staying on Disney property, check the nightstand in your resort room for a schedule of events, including Extra Magic Hours. Each park has one day per week where they open 1 hour early for resort guests only. Each park also has 1 day per week where they stay open later for resort guests only. Each park has those hours on different days of the week and they are subject to change, so make sure to check that schedule.
