I hate having a huge list on my messenger, esp with people I don't remember. So why do people automatically try to add you BEFORE they talk to you and get to know you first? Don't you find that annoying?

I installed messenger on my new computer and every e-mail address stored in my yahoo got an inventation to join my IM list. Almost everyone said yes, but I was really embarassed because some of the people on my list where professors or people I've done business with and I'm sure they don't want to be on my personal IM.
