How would you compare honolulu and miami what are some good points to make.

They are both:
vacation spots
hot
have beaches
ocean
palm trees
AND RESEARCH THE REST for technical things such as population, size, pricing, customs, sports teams, etc.

obvious comparisons - tropical weather, beaches, palm trees, vacation sites; surfing, etc.

contrasts aren't so obvious - maybe continental U.S. vs separated island; also maybe racial diversities--I think Miami would have a higher black and a much higher Cuban and Hispanic population than Honolulu, which I think would have a higher Asian population. There might also be some crop differences--I think coconuts and pineapples are grown in Hawaii (though probably not in Honolulu), but I don't think they are grown in Florida.
