Go to www.videolan.org and get the free VLC player. It plays everything.

K-lite Codec Pack is the solution if you have any problem with codec. You can download it for free here http://bit.ly/1kl9uDC
If you are unable to watch video or you can't open any files (avi, mp4, divx, etc...) it's very likely that your computer doesn't have right codecs. You need to install K-lite Codec Pack to fix the issue.

I put an Xvid CD in my laptop and I use Realplayer 10 as my default media player. It said I needed to download the Xvid codec and took me to a download site,. I did and presto it started playing straight away. I had problems doing it with Windows media player .

Hey there,
You can download Blood 2 The Chosen for free here: http://bit.ly/1pnRLqS
no surveys, no scams, just the full game!
Blood 2: The Chosen is the series next to FPS blood and set a hundred years after the original.
It's my favourite game.

My friend had the same problem. We installed the exact same codecs that I use to play my XVID-coded .avi videos, but they didn't work for his comp like they did for mine. When he bought Nero Burning Rom and installed it, his WMP suddenly started playing XVIDS. I wouldn't suggest going out and buying Nero if you don't have a DVD/CD burner, but perhaps installing the free demo version on your comp would allow you to use the codecs?
Otherwise, try out “GOM Player“ at www.gomplayer.com. It plays movies without codecs since it has the code internally. Use GOM Player if you just want to watch the video and not re-encode it or put it on DVD.
