Free education for all means knowledge for everybody. Citizens must be required to go to schools and it is a valid exercise of police power of the state for nation building.

Very simply... promote and put more efforct into education and not just education for children but also, education for adults.

Here are a few things we should do:
1. Bring back free college - we used to have this and even countries like Mexico that is a 3rd world country has it. Why can't we?
2. Get rid of so much mindless junk on TV and replace it with more educational shows.
3. Schools and colleges should provide free tutoring.

We would have to give kids the incentive to stay in school; not drop out, and not ditch classes. Other countries are so far ahead of us educationally, and that means shame on us.

One thing that our country does that is seriously wrong, is not to teach foreign languages until high school. In many other countries the children learn languages in the primary grades--when it is easy for them to learn. Kids at the high school level have too many other subjects, and sports, and social lives--plus the fact that the older you get, the harder it is to learn other languages.
