Doesn't he deserve it more than anyone??

I mean, he pretty much defeated Bush in 2000 and had the Presidency taken from him by the Supreme Court.

He has the experience of having worked 8 years under one of the best Presidents we have ever had.

Fine by me. He might get my vote. So far he is not running. The neocons would S**t their pants if he did win. He knows what they are up to and they would be foiled with all their devious shenanigans.

He deserves it more than Bush does, but no... nobody deserves the presidency by default, just for being there.

Honestly, I'd like to see Big Al run in 2008, because if he won, just think about what he would do with a democratic controlled congress!!! He'd institute some of the biggest, most sweeping changes this country would have ever seen, and he would make sure we got back on the right track both environmentally and technologically.

Change takes guts, and he's shown he has the guts to stand out there and demand it, rather than loosening the belt for big businesses and allowing them to put on a few pounds at the expense of the planet.

To those who criticize him for flying a private jet rather than taking a seat in first class on a commercial airliner... He is a former VP. He may not have much choice about this. As for his car, I bet you dollars for donuts that he shows up in at least a hybrid, and probably something even more cutting edge than that.

Well, he lost in 2000 when the Supreme Court ruled against a selective recount which would have favored Gore. Clinton doesn't even rank in the top ten Presidents we have ever had. He was an average President, nothing more, nothing less.

Not really. Eight years as VP doesnt prove anything. Dick Cheney is soon going to have eight years under his belt, and I wouldnt trust him with walking my dog, much less the Presidency.

I dont really admire Al Gore that much anymore. He had an opportunity not long ago to make a good even-handed documentary on global warming and instead made a Green Party propaganda film. Not that I dont like the Greens, I think theyre wonderful people with wonderful goals and aims, but resorting to propaganda never makes anyone go up in my esteem.

Seems like no one has the balls to stand up and stick with something because its honest or right anymore. They all let out propaganda and lies on a regular basis.

No, I don't.

He spouts off about the environment and flies around in a private jet. Which, by the way, uses 4 times the fuel per nautical mile than a commercial airliner. What the heck are carbon credits good for? He still pollutes. That's a hypocrite in my book.

You can bet he won't be pulling up to the Oscars on Sunday night on a Segway.

The man deserves a long drop and a sudden stop for his terroristic attacks against the U.S. economy. He will end up costing this country more than all of Al Qaeda's attempts combined.

Yes, I do. I agree with you, he has 8 yrs. experience & he really
did win the popular vote in 2000. Al Gore has a brain & can
read, unlike the creep who stold the election in 2000.

Nobody "deserves" the presidency. If you can't win elections, then obviously you don't deserve it. Al Gore lost and it's time to get over it.

Oh please he drives gas guzzling cars, flies in private jets and was born and raised to be in politics. He has no experience living a real life with real problems. Let him live in the inner cities for awhile. Let him be laid off with only a few months mortgage payments in the bank.

I don't even think he deserves an Oscar, let alone being President.
