I love the show yes, but I want to become one myself. Are there any informational sites I could check out to help me learn more about them. I need to know what I should study, what kind of school I should attend. I know, I am asking for a lot. Any help would be great. Thanks so much guys, I appreciate it. Have a good night, and God bless you.

Well, I can tell you first of all the show is pretty much unrealistic.

If you're looking to do the science aspect, you probably looking at a job where all you do is basically analyzing samples.

If you want to be the one piecing together the case, you should probably go through the police route (ie. become a constable and try to work your way up to detective).

In real life, these CSIs are pretty much scientists and rarely get to go to the crime scene and much less interrogate the suspect. I went on a parent day thing there, and after one day working with them, it totally turned me off of being a CSI.

The technicians work in a little cubicle with test tubes and stuff...it was so boring that it was such a turn-off for me.
