me and a couple of other people are going to a dance (im in highschool by the way) and we want to go to dinner before the dance. The dance is semi-formol so we'll be dressed pretty nice so we need a restaruant thats not casual. It doesn't have to be the fanciest place ever just somewhat formal and i cant spend more than around $15/ person. it might be impossible but if you know of any place that we can go please let me know. Thank you

In this town you can find a dinner buffet for that but there really isn't any place near the strip like that unless you are willing to spend at least $45-60 a person.

Even the really nice places in Vegas don't have a dress code most of the time.

Z Tejas is nice for that price as long as your not drinking. Its a southwest fusion place on Sahara. Good cornbread.

On the strip, theres not too many place, except buffets, for that price.

You could go to PF Changs just off the strip, on Paradise. Its family style chinese so everyone shares, so you be able to get out for under 15 a peice.

What about downtown! Isn't there a spot to go that is reasonably priced. Check some of the smaller places or hotels, I think you could find some restaurant that's reasonable. The strip will be expensive, so try somewhere else.

I say you should just go to Black Angus. I can't say that I've liked any more expensive restaurant I've been to in Vegas.

I think I want Black Angus for dinner tonight now.

Let me tell you how to handle this ... Tapas, or Appetizers only. Just tell your partner your the one that is ordering, and stick to small platers you share. Seems more intimate, and you get off cheap.
