The Holocaust was sad, and should have NEVER happened.

I feel that the Holocaust was the epitome of hell on earth. A gross result of racially-fueled, uneducated banter. Furthermore, the Holocaust has erased millions of people who may have had the ability to create change in this world (either themselves or descendents).

holocaust was yes a very sad thing and messed up but now that we look back on it we just have to accept that it happened and like all bad things we learn from it.now we know what to look for and how to deal with it you know why........cuz it already happened and if it hadn't then it would only happen later in life anyways!!!!!

Frightening how in Europe, a mentally deranged/embittered, inbred man wielded the power of persuasion--and carved in murderous horror, his niche in History. To this day, we're awestruck of how so many thousands of people were brutally raped, starved, beaten (some to death), subjected to extreme weather....and marched to gas chambers and roasted alive in furnaces. And for what reason--because they ascribed to or were born in the Jewish religion of faith??

I also am led to question why WAS the USA reluctant to stop Hitler from his killing innocent people; that it took Hitler's Axis ally, Japan to strike on Pearl Harbor for us to finally get into the fight.

Which do you find worse?

That no matter what crazy politicians in foreign countries say, it happened. And it nothing like that should ever be allowed to happen again, it was terrible.

Also, we haven't learned our lesson about genocide and how to prevent it, or help countries going through it : Rwanda, Darfur...

That we must all work to build a world in which such barbarity can never happen again.

It amazes me. How can people lose all morals and do such a coldhearted and evil thing? It is something that I will never understand.

It was horrible and should not of happened. Also Jews were not the only ones to be tortured by that maniac. There were Gypsy's and Jehovahs Witnesses and any one who would not bow down to hitler.
