I'm a student in grade 10 (IGCSE syllabus) and I'll be studying grade 11 next year as A/As level.
I've asked so many universities, but still I haven't got any answer.
I need to know if I want to go for medicine in university, which subjects should I take as A and which as AS?
Plus is phy and math compulsory for medicine or not?!

And please let me know which all subjects are compulsory for medicine.
thanx

Physics and math are important and med schools require both. Usually they want 1 year of physics and 1 or 1.5 of math; for the exact #s just go to a schools website. In physics you'll learn about electric potentials and gradients, and then in med school, those concepts will help you to understand how sodium and potassium and other ions flux into and out of the cell to cause contraction of muscles, etc. Also, math is important for the many calculations you will do as you calculate how much medicine your patient with lowered renal function needs to get.
