I have special feelings for my wife's elder sister. She is 2 years older than me and we share a lot of common interests. Unlike my wife, i can speak to her intelligently on any subject. What i need to know is exactly how she feels about me...is it love or plain infatuation...or heaven forbid, just sisterly love!
Her birthday is around the corner....how can i use this occassion to find out her feelings for me?

I am surpised by the moralistic tone adopted by almost everyone. While i don't blame for you it, since you do not have all details reg. my marriage, May i request you to be non-judgemental...and look it as a question from someone truly in love?

Yo buddy.....u mad or what? Can u answer dat one? Have u told ur wife about these "special" feelings for her older sister? Can u answer this one? And ummmmm......you know this thing u talking about is not very moral. Plus how far would u be willing to go if a relationship does develop between u n her? I mean will u divorce ur wife? Remember they are sisters. Would ur sis-in-law like to see her sis divorced coz of her? Wud she be willing to shoulder the burden, pain and humiliation (yes, humiliation) of that? And why didn't u marry her in the first place instead of the poor unsuspecting sister (ur wife)? Don't tell me that u have suddenly fallen in love with her. Today its her tomoro it may be Suzy from next door. Dude stop it. Ur just looking for trouble. Don't give it the name of love and spoil the term. Call it wat it is - lust! Think before u come out with all these things u moron.

Whoa...

Why do you need to know? Stand back and think about your obligations to your wife. Although, we all may be reading this incorrectly and you are just concerned if she likes you or not. However, I have a feeling that isn't the case and you are pushing your luck here. Love? Infatuation? Sisterly love?

All there should be is friendship. And if it is anything else, there are lines being crossed. And I have concern that since you are beyond curious about this, that you want her to love you. Is that the case?

Please step back from this, and look at her as only your friend.

You are married. First of all divorce your wife. later, make sure that a bullet passes through your head...

Once a married man starts involving himself with any other lady, he's just asking for trouble. Better love your wife. So what if you cannot discuss few subjects with her. Is that the only criteria to develop love in a relationship? So what if both of you don't share any common comon interset? Having common interests is again not a criterea for love to be developed.

The fact is that she is your wife. both of you gotta be committed towards each other. She's the one who takes care of you, loves you, trusts you, at times bugs you, and all the time ready to stand by your side. If not for love, then atleast for sake of humanity, be with the person who is always by you...
