The unwise and inexperienced always feel that they have the best answers. Look at the meaning of the word "Sophomore". I believe that it means "Wise Fool". How many, high school, or college think that they have all of the right answers to everything? The wise take what they know, and ask even more questions, gaining all the knowledge that they can, and turn to the experienced for advise. So, it would seem that those who you refer to are simply "sophomores".

They are just showing off their new found wealth of knowledge! Best thing to do is to encourage them to do more courses and then come back to you when they have their PHD!
