you have to spray a sample and lick it. If the taste stings the tounge, it is not suitable. If there is no sting, it is a good match.
Please let me know before I test all the perfumes I have been using.

I have never heard that before & I would not recommend doing it because of the various ingredients in the fragrance. There is lots of alcohol and this will probably cause all the fragrances to sting. If you are concerned about fragrances lasting longer I have some tips that may help you out. Don't use deoderant soap when you plan to wear fragrances- the deoderant neutralizes the scent in your perfume. Don't rub where you apply the fragrance- this bruises and crushes the emollients in the fragrance & changes the scent. Don't spray on your clothes, it will frequently stain them. Spraying it in your hair will help the scent last longer. This is something new that perfumers are starting to suggest because hair holds onto scent really well. Also, placing fragrance on pulse points (where you get heated up) helps the scent be more a part of you. The backs of you knees is a great place because scent rises upward. Remember that you want the scent to be like it is the scent of your skin so apply sparingly. After you have used the scent for a while, you will stop smelling it as strongly. Hope this is helpful.

Yes, I've heard something similar: that if it tastes sweet to you, it's a good perfume for you. (I'm not saying whether I believe it, but, yes, I have heard that.)

I wouldn't suggest that. You don't know what chemicals are in it and licking it probably isn't a good idea.
