First, who has the more reputable guests and reporters.
It seems everyone from FOX geraldo, Ollie North, Mark Furman, allthere guest seem second hand compared to the writers at newsweek and true valid writers, media personnel and correpondants that are used at MSNBC.

Even those that are called in to debate issues for both sides -- usally you have one strong republican vs a weak democrat on O'Reilly and on FOX. Yet they calim to be balanced.

#1 -- who has the more intelligent knowledgeable guest commentators?
HANDS DOWN -- MSNBC...hands down OLBERMAN

#2 Who tackles the real issues, exposes the real concerns that effect the public?

Where fox does everythign to show president in a good light, they conveniently fail to report the true issues.
Where as MSNBC reports the inflating of the terrorism numebrs by FBI, the walter reed scandal, the flip flopped words of every politicians, and the promises that have been made and not kept by this administration.

While FOX tries to vcover up everything, and keep everything hidden, MSNBC is exposing the inconsistencies the lies with FACTS, not the opinions everyone at FOX gives.

#3 O'Reilly vs Olberman head to head.

Where o'reilly is conent on tryintoo make hiself seem tough, hard on issues, fair and balanced, its o'reilllys actions that hurt him most.

Sexual harrassment
Comments on kidnapped kid
getting canned from the fundraising event for missing and exploited children.

those are his actions.
yet all he talks about is bshing NBS and everyone else. And the more he tries to say hes mr no spin, the more everyone should be able to see through it..

where as, Olberman just gives you the facts.
He points out the issues and backs it up with details.
like that dragnet guy 'just the facts'

And hes funny about it.

#3 -- the whole package of not having to talk a big game, but letting your reports and your actions speak for themselves.
OLBERMAN WINS!

P.S. but I have to give it to fox. Their propoganda scheme is actually brillliant. They get very charasmatic rep[orters and guests that seem pationate abnout their issues -- but they are only one sided. But the manner in which its presented -- it seems for the better ment of the country. I do suspect somethign similiar to what hitler did to win over the public.

O #4 AREA -- who has the better propoganda campaign that misleads thepublic, keeps them away from the real issues, scares them subliminally with fear tctics that sink into their head and make them believe this war and this administration is clean as a whistle -- FOX news wins that area.

They are clever, deceitful, manipulative.
Like all those religious leaders who use parts of the Bible to trick people into their organization.

3-1 MSNBC WINS an So Does Olberman

Perhaps O'Reilly and Fox fit the Administration's propaganda purposes.

Hermann Goering, Hitler’s Propaganda Minister said; “Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism, and exposing the country to greater danger”.

The views and opinions of journalist is easily controlled today, they all salivate a crave to get into the White House political agenda without regard to integrity. But, I always use every available network for information to obtain what is not being reported by other stations. Its a kind of check and balance thing going on there on our airwaves and I try to follow its trend.

But, I do agree with you on the great reporting done by MSNBC staff and have always enjoyed their reporting and documentaries. They depict the essence of journalistic integrity and masterful articulation of revealing the story at-hand. Virtually, gluing you to the tube. I admit that I will go through hell with my wife and kid's to watch these programs, they love to watch other programs and nothing informational.

Except hardly anyone listens to Olberman.

Countdown barely outdraws Paula Zahn or Nancy Grace in its time slot.

Where Bill O'Reilly has 313% more viewers than Olberman does.

You cannot argue with the numbers, more people trust and watch O'Reilly .

Paula Zahn Now - 578
O'Reilly Factor - 1959
Countdown - 625
Nancu grace - 527

I know I'll get some bad ratings for dragging in mere "facts", but lets look at the numbers:

http://www.newsroom.ucla.edu/page.asp?RelNum=6664

The most scientific study on this subject to date has found that nearly ALL major news outlets lean to the left, even FOX, Though FOX was one of the least biased. I'd recommend reading the article in its entirety.

The truth is, there aren't any right wing television news channels, period. FOX is merely the least left, and is thus misinterpreted as being "right wing".

Facts are fun, are they not?

If you watch every news channel in the WORLD, you'll see that the american media is the most right-wing of any truly democratic nation with the exception of israel.

And fox news claims every other news channel is biased except them.
