Aquarians?

Question

Im an Aquarius and yes bored.. I want to know why they figure Aquarians have many friends, and they like gadgets lol...

Im not gadget friendly and if they didnt make the DVD I would still not mind the VCR lol...I have friends I can only count on one hand OR LESS some fingers. Also, I dont think I am very "humanitarian" so why do they generalize the sign like this?

The only thing I may do is read about astrology (they say this sign is into these kind of things)

I dont really get along with other Aquarians...

Any Aquarians feel this way?

Replace 'humanitarian' with 'idealist'. Gadget friendly? Ha ha! I'm also an Aquarius, and if something goes wrong with my computer/tv/satellite/cell phone, I usually wind up breaking the thing to pieces with a large, blunt object.

Aquarians are known to be odd, idealistic, social yet aloof and sometimes distant, and are thought to be popular but have few friends they consider 'friends'. We're humanitarian in that we wish for a better world, but most Aquarians are also terribly lazy. We don't act; we inspire others to action. We're also conceited, arrogant, much too certain of our place in the world, and we don't like explaining ourselves to anyone--if they were really our friends, they'd understand us anyway right?

There are many reasons why most people don't fit into their signs, lol. If you're that into it, buy (or go to a bookstore and read) a book called "The New Astrology". It crosses your western zodiac sign with your Asian zodiac sign, and I swear it's so spot-on it's freaking scary.

You just sort of proved a point that astrology doesn't mean anything. It can be fun to read, but it's all a generalization. Ok, I'm an Aquarian and I do have a lot of friends, unfortunately most of them have moved from near where I live so now I have to use the phone, which I hate,, or live via email. and I am totally gadget friendly. I have a bad habit of getting new computers as soon as they come out, bugs and all, something I'm trying to get past. But the one thing you missed about Aquarians is that they are individuals, that they all go to their own beat. They don't do what others do. So, by you saying you don't do all these things that are supposed to be parts of your sign, you are saying you are your own person, which is totally an Aquarian trait. Sort of circular logic, but it comes out in the end.

I read your story and it seems that your not like any Aquarius.
The thing is Aquarius is just a general wide area of your personality, if you want to know what you are really like, get a birth chart. Your personality doesnt just matter on star signs, it matters on moon, mercury, venus, mars, jupiter, saturn, uranus, neptune, pluto, lilith, Ascending signs. Sun signs are just traits of your behaviour.

I find that I dont get on with other Aquarians. It depends where you were born in the Aquarius sign. Either January 20/21 to the 1 Feb , the 2 feb to the 9 feb and from the 10 - 19 feb. It depends on a lot of things. Astrology is more complicated than most people think.

Aquarius people can get along with other Aquarius but its only a 6 out of 10

I'm a Libran but I know many Aquarians (Libra and Aquarius are one of the best matches for friendship and/or love in the zodiac) and I usually know them better than they know themselves lol. Aquarians are hard to get on with are they have a unique approach to things and it's hard to find something in common with them because they are so original. This is not a bad thing, being original is good. It's just that society like us all to be the same and "fit the mold". But Aquarians don't and will refuse to so people don't get along with them, usually because they won't even make the effort. Aquarians are humanitarian but they don't realize it, that's all. The reason that you may not be humanitarian is because your moon sign might be totally different to Aquarius so you might not carry all of Aquarius's traits. The reason that you might not get along with other aquarians is because you clash. I don't get along with other Librans because I sometimes clash with them. It's nothing wrong with you. And don't worry about not having loads of friends because having just a small group of friends can be good too =D

i do. i totally understand.
right now, i have only like... a handful of friends too. and some of them are only there because they have nothing else to do. my own mother is nervous when i'm around any electronic gadget.
i nly care about the CUTE animals... not about the monkeys (i think they're hideous) my mother is an aquarian and we don't get along well. some of my aquaintaces are aquariuses too but we don't even look each other in the eye. it's nice to know you get it too...

im an aquarius, and im gadget friendly i love all new gadgets so does my dad (his an aquarius) but when it comes to them breaking then i agree with the person who said they beat em with a blunt object...i have actually tried that...(it got me a new phone though!)

but im very much like the horoscope, but i think it goes abit woo, cos it says plenty of friends, but all the people i count as friends i can count on a hand too, but ill walk through the streets and i can guareeente ill have atleast 5 people stop me and say hi, i have 90 contacts on my phone, and 200 contacts on msn.

but i dont call them friends...just people i know and will stop and chat with (im not self obsessed just using myself as an example lol!)

i dont get on with other aqaurians either...(and trust me dont ever date one...) i think the zodiac stuff is great i love reading them BUT!!:

the horoscopes are merely a guideline to your personality and to your life, it also depends on your enviroment i.e. it says we are very creative but if your not involved in a creative enviroment you wont be, its merely saying that if we did get into these things then we will most likely find it easier to get into than others not that we actually are already.
