Hi, yea, so I want to do the talent show at my school, but I didn't really give myself any time to choreograph a song. It's Friday, but I'm a really good dancer and really good at memorizing. Do you think I could make it up before then?

You should have plenty of time to make up a dance! If you just make it up like tomorrow then you should have time to practice it and memorize it! And if you mess up o well! you came out and did your best.If you forget or dont have time just listen to the music and get some ideas of what you might want to do then just free style!

You should be able to choreograph a dance to the song. The length of time that it takes for you to do it will depend upon your skill, what kind of dance you want to be done to the song, the use of any props, etc. and the length of the song.

Well it depends on your imagination, knowledge of steps and the duration of the song.
It usually takes me about half an hour to choreograph a normal Techno dance and then to memorise and practice in front of a mirror.
It depends on what style also, you need to be able to get it, memorise it and get the steps as perfect as you can.

of course you can. I did choreography to a song for my school talent show last year and it only had 30 Min's to produce something else (my partner had dropped out on me) and I was able to do it. Try to do a dance that is easiest to you, like modern is easy for me so that's what I used.

good luck!

if you are good then it wont be a problem for you. few weeks ago I had to dance with a partner and one ballerina made for us a choreography to a one song. it took us (her) one hour to make choreography, then we just repeated it for next two days, and we danced it great, didn't forget any step. so it's possible!

if you dance as good as you say you should have no problem getting it done by friday. it may only take you a day.
