they are all like this shirt is so ugly or saying thier hair is so good and they brag to much about how ugly other people are and they dont know that they are really ugly

Really, if you were to go into the inner workings, it is a sociological or psychological issue that is up for vast interpretation. Obsessing about looks reflects on many things including your culture, how you were raised, how others view you, how you want to be viewed, self-expression and countless other factors.
As a male, I take pride in my appearance. I come from a good family that is well off and while I don't flaunt my status, I see no reason why I shouldn't take pride in my appearance and be concerned with it. I dress very well, practice excellent grooming habits and that is my personal preference. Don't get me wrong, its nice to roll out of bed and throw on a hat, a t-shirt and running pants, but that can also be done in a tasteful, coordinating manner and still be considered stylish.
So really, its a matter of personal preference... that is my take on it!

Because they want to look pretty for all the guys and they compete with each other. Some of us are just not happy so we think makeup or a cute hairstyle will help us feel better. There's a million reasons. Why ask why?? If your a guy, aren't you glad??? Besides, guys do the same thing!! There just not as obvious.

Because we're so convinced that everyone is constantly judging us.
We think that we're constantly being watched.
And we feel better in saying someone else is ugly. We think that we're being real, but in reality we're trying to use that as therapy on ourselves. It's our way of saying that you're prettier than someone, whether you are or aren't.
I just find beauty in everyone...it's not hard to find.

dats bcoz they linked good looks wit popularity and attention-grabbing.. it subconsciously give them confidence and they think that good looks can get them higher than they could be, like more guys gawking after them, higher paying position, easily get out of trouble, a right to get all flirty etc.. but then they dont realize dat dey got ugly hearts and soon, their looks wil only be their downfall shud they not change their attitude..

that can be said about girls or guys. alot of people are insecure, that's the reason why.
it's really annoying tho seeing on tv these people getting plastic surgery done on everything. cheeks, lips, nose, eyes, brows, botox, breasts.....you get the point. and they come out of it looking WORSE than they did going in.

are you for real? guys care about their looks too, if guys don't care abt how they look why is their so much stuff for guys hair and accessories. please. guys are just as insecure as girls, people are like that, want to be something more than they really are.

They are trying to get guys to notice them. Girls are sensitive about what they should wear or how they look. Their appearence matters to them!

because it's nature, kindof like how men try to screw as many girls as they can. women try to attract the men, and the men just sleep with them and don't give a crap what they're wearing.
