they are not satisfied with what they have under the sheets at home and use the term wife swapping as an okay agreement with their partner so it seems okay, they cannot be committed to one person & want more, if you love someone you couldn't imagine being with someone else and your partner would be othe only one that can make you happy

wife swapping in real life sexual activity (not the tv program concerning wife in anothers family for 2wks.) is generally sort ,when there is a lull in the relationship. It may have become stale ,boring not exciting anymore. The male usually instigates this because he's a visual creater and sees his manhood through his verility. So if he can get his rocks off!!, proves how verile he is and he still has got IT whatever it is. Not have to wine, dine and listen to the new partner complain, about the trash not being put out, or how he never listens to her, or show some passion and romance. Sure he's going to go for it. No sweat.!!
The down side of that is... The Wife may find it sexually stimulating if the guy is a stud or atleast pays her attention. But she may also feel dirty and used from the start.Because the female is driven by emotion, passion, intimacy. The Marriage will suffer eventually due to her resentment, over the swap, and if he's over the road doing his thing with another, He's not so inclined to do it with her. He's had his fix and probably tired. Then he'll eventually find the new relationship getting stale ,so he'll move on to another. Rarely will this work out unless the Marriage is an open one before hand and both partners are sexual predetors anyway. What they need to do is bring respect and love, intimacy, play into their own relationship. Even go on so called blind dating with each other, like they did before they became a couple. That's my view about this situation. Lynda

Because people have devalued the marriage vow. They are not loyal to one another anymore as they should be. Is it no wonder so many children are being raised by single parents nowadays? People who engage in such activities are not destined to have successful marriages. They are selfish, self-centered, and lustful, obviously. And those are not the ingredients to a successful marriage. It's really pathetic, if you ask me.

people engage in these types of behaviors a lot more often than most people think. they are done just for sexual excitement...a lot of people have preferences that may not be that of the 'popular' public. i personally don't agree with it, but it's not my place to judge what others choose to do.

To add excitement to a marriage. To allow your partner the opportunity to experience someone new without having to cheat.
