Everyone knows reality television is 90% ratings and 10%reality.
But was there a time when things got TOO real? Did someone ever REALLY get hurt?

hmm. i heard that contestants on dog eat dog had to sigh like a 20 page contract saying like 'we are not responsible for your death, if you get hurt screw you'

It was Survivor Australia his name was Mike and he passed out near the fire from the smoke and fell into the fire burning his hands pretty badly and he was taken out of the game by chopper.

One of the "Survivor" episodes a dude got burned badly, the Africa one I think. I remember seeing it on VH-1 a while back.

On "Dog Eat Dog", one of the stunts went wrong and the machine stopped while the guy was under water and he almost drowned....so yeah, sometimes these shows are pushing it.
