Well, I hate to burst your bubble but a natural hat trick does NOT mean that all the goals are scored in one period - but you are right that they must be consecutive. "The term natural hat trick (or Nat-Trick) refers to when a player scores three goals consecutively in a single game. The goals do not have to happen in the same period." (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hat-trick)

As to the answer you are seeking, I will choose someone who scored a tonne of goals, and for some seasons, was basically the only player on his team who scored ANY goals - Brett Hull.

Robbie Fowler against Arsenal - 1994/1995. Not a great year for Liverpool in terms of their own success, but a great year for them in terms of United failing to win the league - I remember watching the split screen stuff on the final day, with all the Liverpool fans wearing Blackburn shirts, Andy Cole missing approximately 564 chances against the might of Ludek Miklosko and Redknapp scoring a blinding free-kick for Liverpool right at the death against Blackburn, meaning that if Cole had his shooting boots on, we'd have been the champions. I'm going to hazard a guess at the lineups: Arsenal: GK: Seaman LB: Winterburn RB: Dixon CB: Keown CB: Adams ML: McGoldrick MR: Parlour MC: Merson MC: Schwarz FC: Wright FC: Hartson Liverpool: GK: James DL: Bjorneybe DR: Jones DC: Ruddock DC: Scales ML: Barnes MR: McManaman MC: McAteer MC: Redknapp FC: Fowler FC: Rush
