Firefox ftp login how?

Hi,

Suppose i give restricted access to many people on my ftp. In explorer, i just ask them to go to ftp.example.com and then File> login as> username and password, which ive created for them.

But how do you log in to the ftp using the unique username and password in firefox.

I tired ftp://username:[e-mail] and also ftp://[e-mail]

Didnt work. Please help, urgent. Thanks a million for the help in advance.

That syntax should work. The server is set up for requiring password authentication, correct?
