I am trying to find the title of a movie that was made in the mid to late 80's. It was an action adventure about a teenage boy whose parents were murdered by a gang of drug smugglers or something. I think they wanted the familie's land or something. I remember that the boy would listen to California Dreamin' on his parents Walkman. I remember that he escaped into the woods and built a shelter and all kinds of primitive weapons to exact his revenge on the gang. I also remember that he had an uncle who was a cop from the city who came to visit him after his parents' death and together they battled the drug gang. Does anyone remember this movie?

Yeah, appears like Outbreak...different than that would not ensue in only one construction...it happens in an entire city....and it is not that frightening. Do the contaminated human beings develop into mosters or something?
