I am familiar with the cervical stitch (cerclage) my sister-in-law had to have one with both of her pregnancies after having a miscarriage at 5 months because of an incompitent cervix. she was able to go to full term with her third pregnancy but she was still three weeks premature withe her second. if your Dr. recommends it i would go with it.

I never did that, sorry. If you're worried about premie labor, what's wrong with bed rest? Isn't that the age old method to keep people from causing themselves to go into labor, not some shot? How far along are you anyway?
