sugar gliders make great pets as long as you have time for them an keep them on a proper diet yes they are nocturnal i have mine in a cage beside my bed as long as you have them on a proper diet for sugar gliders they wont have an Oder keep his cage cleaned out plenty of water lots of attention they make wonderful pets i get mine out put him on a leash an i take him everywhere with me he stays in my shirt pocket but don't take him out in bright direct sunlight the sun will burn there eyes an cause blindness inside the house i put him in his extra-size ball he rolls around the house in it i always have him on his leash at play time inside or outside the house there is a bonding pouch you can get for him it hangs around your neck an carry them it that if you don't wont to have them in your shirt pocket they crave attention so if you cant give at least an hour a day to give to them they are not the pet for you but if you do take them out with you shopping or visiting friends an relatives make sure you give the a drink of water ofter they dehydrate fast carry along dryed/dehydrated fruits for treats an you will have a great exotic Lil pet

They do make good pets if you know how to take care of them. You should know that they are nocturnal and unless you plan on being up till 4 in the morning they may not be the right pet for you. If you don't have the time for one it could become depressed and die. I suggest you really research them alot if you really want one.

It can be a house pet, but you need to learn how to take care of one first before actually buying it. My friend had that problem with hamsters...she never learned how to take care of one, and by that she went through 7 hamsters in one year. I've had mine for almost 2 years now...and he's never better.

Once you get the basics of their care, apparently they are fabulous pets. I did a training session on them at work. Never had one myself. They are not the easiest things to take care of though.

They are wonderful pets. So cute. I would highly recommend getting one. I had one a Grey and unfortunately he died a couple of years ago. I have been looking to buy another. They are alot of fun.
