Both would claim they are truthful if asked.

As to a mathematical model, if Bob is x then John would be equal to -x or 1/x. In other words, either Bob plus John should be zero or Bob times John should be unity. Sorry, I really do not know what a mathematical model implies.

I am a John and I do not "always" tell the truth, but i try to be truthfull.
My father and brother are having disagreements lately, but i have an obligation to hold their trust, so i do not tell them what the other says about the other. Why hurt either of them by telling them what the other does not want to say to ecah other? by that token i do not tell them the truth, but i do keep my relationship good with both of them, and that is more important to me. it would do me no good to say, "he said this.., and he said this or that". but by me staying out of it they do not learn the "actual" truth. perhaps it is better for them to work it out themselves.

I think there is or could be if you use boolean ie every thing bob says is concidered NOT and everything john says is not NOT.
But i am just guessing.

I think that it would be represented as a picture of two disjoint sets. I am not sure about this. Logically, it is a hasty generalization.
