My 13th birthday is on march 19th, and i dont know weather to go shopping with my mom or to have a small partyand get a few select gifts.
If i were to have a party..what would i do?
Or should i just go shopping and get whatever..?

well, if you were to have a party, it depends on what you like best...
if you like to have fun, i had my 16th birthday party at a place that is strictly pump -up inflatables (you know like we had in 2nd grade?!) and it was the best party of my life. or you and a few friends could go rollerskating, ice skating, have a picnic, etc. or even better, do both your mom's ideas and yours. go to the mall & go shopping, but have a scavenger hunt with your friends and have a sleepover afterwards!

Why can't you do both? Spend time with your mom. Make it a pleasant experience. Maybe because you're turning 13, you could ask her for something (not expensive ) that you have been wanting.Do you wear glasses? Maybe contacts! How about a charm bracelet? Maybe all your friends could get you a charm to go on it so you'll always remember them by it. The charms are not that expensive, about 5- to - 20 for a silver one. I can't afford the gold ones , so I know you and they can't. Believe you me , there will come a time that little things like going to lunch with your mom and something like the bracelet will become dear treasures to you. Hey have a slumber party. watch scary movies., paint each others nails. eat popcorn, keep parents up all night! lol.. HAVE FUN!

My Mom's birthday was March 19th. She is in heaven now. I say you should do both. Have fun.

make it a nice 1 with the games ur friendz wuld like to play rather than u selectin them..... nd u can hve a sleepover so tht u can enjoy... nd happy birthday in advance!!!
